Sydney has lived in Hawaii for 4 years. After attending her first yoga class more than a decade ago, she knew that she was going to become a yoga teacher. In 2021 Sydney obtained her 200 Hr certification in Ashtanga Vinyasa and 2 years later completed a 300 Hr training specializing in Yoga Nidra and Restorative and Trauma Sensitive yoga.
While in college, Sydney developed a successful group yoga program for her student peers. She has also taught regular classes at an East-Indian Temple, high-end resort, and for women empowerment retreats.
Sydney views yoga as an opportunity to go on a date with yourself, where you learn your limitations physically and mentally. On the mat you learn what poses feel good, where you hold tension and who you are as a person. It is a time to be fully present with yourself.
