Holiday Special: Yin Yoga
About the Class
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice that works deeply into the body through passive, longer-held poses. This style targets the connective tissues—ligaments, joints, bones, and deep fascia—supporting joint health and mobility. Classes are thoughtfully curated, with poses held for 2–5 minutes each, allowing time for stillness and awareness. Yin yoga helps improve the flow of energy throughout the body, supporting organ function and overall vitality. Additional benefits include deep relaxation, increased circulation, enhanced flexibility, stress release, and a calm, balanced mind and body. This class is practiced in an open-air space, with the room naturally warmed from the hot class beforehand. The lingering warmth supports circulation and deeper release, while conscious breathing encourages gentle detoxification and the letting go of what the body no longer needs. This grounding practice is a beautiful way to slow down, reset, and prepare for the holidays and the New Year.
