The Art Club is a relaxing and welcoming creative series designed for adults, young adults, and teens who want to explore different art mediums in a cozy community environment.
Each session features a project using a different artistic medium — from watercolor and acrylic painting to charcoal and oil pastels. This series is designed to be approachable, inspiring, and enjoyable. No experience needed.
Come unwind, create, and enjoy a cozy artistic atmosphere surrounded by community.
Lesson One | May 12
🐚 Watercolor Hawaiian Shells
Explore watercolor techniques while creating delicate shell illustrations inspired by Hawaiʻi’s coastline.
Lesson Two | May 19
🌸 Hawaiian Flower Canvas Painting
Paint vibrant tropical flowers with acrylics on canvas while learning layering and color blending techniques.
Lesson Three | May 26
🌊 Ocean Wave Charcoal Drawing
Experiment with texture, movement, and contrast through an expressive charcoal drawing inspired by the ocean.

💃🏼 Hula Doll Oil Pastel Illustration
Create a playful and colorful hula doll artwork using rich and expressive oil pastels.

Kelly Patrick is a contemporary painter, illustrator and mural artist based in Honolulu. Her work is inspired by the islands vibrant coastal life, drawing influence from the ocean, surfing culture, mermaids and Hawaiian florals. Beyond her art, Kelly considers her two young daughters to be her greatest masterpieces, continually shaping her perspective on the world and fusing her work with themes of growth, wonder and transformation. Her pieces are a homage to the beauty of her surroundings in Hawai’i, the power of self expression, and the love that shapes her life and art.
