Certified Yoga Instructor
After spending her developing years in South Korea, Okinawa, and Florida, Maria finally found her home in Hawaii. Her life’s passion and joy are exploring the subtle relationship between the body, mind, and breath through the practice of yoga. Maria received her 200-hour yoga teaching certification in 2013. With ten years of teaching experience, she continues to be a dedicated student of vinyasa yoga, exploring the freedom and release of each practice. Maria's warmth and compassion-centered instruction shine through in every class. She guides students through intuitive flows connected to the breath to build physical and mental flexibility and endurance.
In addition to being a yoga instructor, Maria is a mother and engages in many other disciplines. When she's out of the studio, she's in the water. Freediving offers her another outlet to express her deep love for movement. As a fine art photographer, she inspires each woman she works with to be true to herself. Just as in yoga, Maria focuses on portraiture that empowers women to celebrate the profound act of expression and self-love.
